My friends who hadn’t seen me for a while when we met would often say that my physical appearance was the same since the last time we had been together.

However that would soon change. I am not intending to boast, but rather I am trying to relate the suddenness of the dramatic change in my life’s journey to encourage the reader to enjoy each day because there is no certainty of the next day’s events.
